L'Dough V'Dough: Braiding Challah with Holocaust Survivors

By Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust (other events)

Thursday, October 17 2019 3:00 PM 5:00 PM

All are invited to join us for an afternoon braiding and baking challah with Holocaust survivors.

L’Dough V’Dough is a program of Los Angeles Museum of Holocaust that connects participants with Holocaust survivors for intergenerational dialogue, exploration of personal narratives, and learning about Jewish life before, during and after the Holocaust.

Evoking the Hebrew phrase, “L’Dor V’Dor,” or “from generation to generation,” L’Dough V’Dough brings people together to share, remember, and bond, one generation to the next in an environment conducive to asking questions and encouraging dialogue.

This event is in conjunction with CURRENT:LA FOOD, Los Angeles' public art triennial, which will explore the multiplicity of food through major public art commissions and public programs with local, international, and multigenerational artists.
